Common challenges
- Required fields are missing, incomplete, or formatted incorrectly
- Data exists in the ERP but never reaches the card network
- Qualification varies by channel, business unit, or gateway
- Savings estimates are based on assumptions rather than transaction evidence
How TSC helps
- Commercial card mix and downgrade review
- Enhanced-data field mapping
- Gateway and integration validation
- Before-and-after statement monitoring
Commercial card data and today’s rules
Extra transaction detail can affect eligible commercial-card fees. Visa’s US Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP) has replaced its legacy Level 2/3 programs. Mastercard has separate requirements. TSC checks card eligibility, data quality, gateway and processor support, and the actual net cost before recommending changes.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered.
What information is commonly associated with enhanced data?
Requirements vary, but can include tax information, invoice or customer references, item descriptions, quantities, unit measures, and other transaction detail.
Can the ERP provide the required information automatically?
Often it can, but the ERP edition, gateway, processor, integration method, and available fields must be confirmed before promising automated qualification.
